General job description:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for producing and managing engaging high-quality marketing programs and materials that build brand recognition for multiple product lines while supporting the sales department.
Principle functions of the job:
Innovate ways to build brand awareness and market all brands
Assist in public relations and communications
Write and distribute press releases
Manage design and marketing agencies
Oversee websites and social media
Manage marketing collateral and inventory – including digital assets
Create digital & print materials i.e. point of sale, sales sheets, company presentations
Manage and create point of sale displays - carton, pallet displays, dump bins, etc.
Collaborate with Product Development team on new item launches & mange design work of new items
Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications
Availability for trade shows and special events
Trade show management and set up, including but not limited to; booking events, planning supplies, travel arrangements, coordinating delivery of materials and merchandise
Responsible management of department budget
Maintain retail locations database and distributor maps
Analyze potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing
Interpret consumer and completive data into actionable insights for brand manager
Adhere to all current GMP’s, food safety requirements and company policies
Additional job skills/requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred
5 to 8 years marketing experience
Excellent verbal and written communication, listening, presentation, negotiation and decision- making skills
High energy and enthusiasm level, dependable
Ideal candidate is extremely organized, adaptable and detail oriented with a high level of ownership, accountability and initiative
