We have a need for a Kettle Lead who is responsible for managing the Kettle Operator and the chip frying process per specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for startup and/or shut down of kettles
  • Monitor, maintain and change oil in the kettles as needed
  • Set up and change slicer heads
  • Monitor, equipment and report malfunctions to maintenance and management
  • Oversee quality and food safety of raw material coming from prep rooms, product coming out of the kettles and product being sorted
  • Ensure all waste from prep rooms, kettle rooms and sorting areas are removed as needed throughout the day and all waste containers and bins are emptied for the incoming shift.
  • Adhere to fire extinguisher and fire suppression system safety training and procedures

General job description: 
The Route Sales Representative is responsible for operating a company vehicle over an established route to sell and deliver products to meet sales goals.  This involves developing sales strategies and maintaining and growing a client database.  He/she will be expected to render services and collect money from customers.

Principle functions of the job:

  • Adhere to all current GMP’s, food safety requirements and company policies
  • Meet sales goals and promote overall route growth to enhance profitability by developing leads/prospects and calling on prospective customers to solicit business
  • Be on the job by 6am
  • Manage inventories on truck
  • Load truck evening before or morning of
  • Manage schedule to ensure efficient use of time, such as performing scheduled stops according to specific receiving hours
  • Responsible for neatness and proper rotation of product, including rotating from endcaps or displays to inline space
  • Rotate product from slower accounts to faster moving outlets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with store management, which may require an adjustment in schedule
  • Provide positive persuasion
  • Properly maintain company vehicle in a safe manner including but not limited to scheduling oil changes and service when needed
  • Conduct vehicle inspection each day and report any issues or concerns to District Manager
  • Promote product during promotions (ads, TPR’s) by engaging conversation with the manager or store director; inform managers of upcoming sales or details of the promotion
  • Continue to grow route by
    • Adding new locations/stores
    • Gaining display locations in existing accounts
    • Getting approval for special buys (BOGO…etc.)
    • Working with in-store associates to ensure pricing is accurate and clearly marked
    • Gaining additional footage in snack aisle
    • Selling additional products/brands in locations that do not carry entire line
  • Manage invoicing and collections for cash accounts
  • Complete required paperwork in timely fashion, ensuring accuracy and legibility
  • Place next day order to the warehouse by noon each day to ensure product will be staged
  • Ability to perform physical activities (frequent lifting, bending and carrying up to 25 lbs…etc.) while adhering to safety expectations and processes in a fast-paced work environment
  • Assist in planning and attending industry trade shows and events as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by District Manager or upper management

Additional job skills/requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance are required
  • Flexible work schedule required, including availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Successful completion of a physical, drug test, Motor Vehicle Record check and general background check

Responsibilities

  • Receive merchandise by unloading, documenting and properly storing merchandise within warehouse
  • Responsible for inventory transfers between plant, warehouse and DSD

We have a need for a Floater who is responsible for learning specific tasks in all departments of the chip making process. In the packing room this includes packing, stacking, preparing machines for startup, handling raw materials, as was as monitoring and making adjustments to the seasoner and machine programs.  In the kettle room the Floater is responsible for assisting the Lead Kettle Operator with the chip frying process.  In the basement the Floater is responsible for sorting product as well as operating the peeling system.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the efficient operation of the packing machines ensuring proper weight, appropriate seasoning, appropriate product, splicing of film, sealings, and date code of the finished product
  • Prepare machine for start of production and make adjustments when necessary to meet the quality standards when packaging different products
  • Change rolls of film as need using a lift cart
  • Change the former as needed
  • Adjust scale programs for product flow, vibration of feeders and buckets to ensure appropriate and efficient setting, check metal detectors
  • Monitor, maintain and change oil in kettles as needed
  • Set up and change slicer heads
  • Coordinate kettle operations with the basement prep rooms and packing room
  • Inspect and handle raw product in the basement to sort, peel, inspect for defects and foreign material and keep kettles supplied
  • Monitor dirty and peeled hopper levels to ensure correct and adequate amount of product is available for the kettle to fry
  • Communicate and coordinate with the kettle operators based upon the production schedule and customer requirements for frying

We are seeking a Production Data Entry Associate whom is responsible for staging corrugate, stacking and shrink-wrapping boxes on pallets, verifying all company and customer required specifications and entering pallets on paperwork and in our database. The available shift is 7pm to 7am  Thursday through Saturday and every other Sunday.

Production Data Entry Associate Job Functions:

  • Adhere to all current GMP’s
  • Support packing machines and packers by delivering raw materials to the lines
  • Hand stack finished cases according to customer specifications while verifying information, case labels, pallet labels, pallet type and slip sheets – attention to detail
  • Edit and print case labels and pallet tags needed for production run
  • Stage proper corrugate, film and seasoning for each production run
  • Assist in correctly labeling corrugate for production
  • Understand production schedule, product quantity remaining on each machine and the next item to produce
  • Load finished goods onto warehouse shuttle trailer, documenting appropriately on the trailer manifest sheet

  • Handle partial cases of seasoning/salt appropriately
  • Prepare machine for start of production and make adjustments when necessary to meet the quality standards when packaging different products
  • Monitor seasoner and seasoning levels to ensure consistent seasoning/salt is applied based upon specifications
  • Understand how the seasoner programs work and adjust settings as necessary
  • Responsible for the operation of the seasoner and weigh conveyor settings ensuring maximum equipment efficiency
  • Understand production schedule to set up packing machines, seasoners and weigh conveyors to meet the designated production schedule
  • Assist in performing metal checks
  • Oversee quality and food safety of finished material coming from the fry room and in preparation for shipping
